Postby Trifletraxor » Wed Dec 16, 2009 7:00 pm

So the core books will have a luxurious leather cover... 8)

Are we talking real leather here? :?

Possibly the hide from the lesser Nauger-beast?

I suppose it's better than a "smoggy" burnt coal version... at least it will last longer.

Man I'm getting copies of these! :P

Will there be ample supply until I can pick them up at Continuum, or is this a limited print that will be torn away like the green-skinned Call of Cthulhu deluxe edition? 8)

Storm Bull won't be pleased

And when y'er done playin' the game, ye can wear it or eat it!

;)

Seriously, I absolutely love the idea of all the books having leather covers. That's gonna be one gorgeous set on the ole bookself.

On the other hand, I'm not at all thrilled by the idea of seeing the entire product line scrapped in lieu of RQII versions. I get the necessity, but this news comes just as I was getting close to completing my collection. Man, that's a LOT of books to have to buy all over again. I'd rather see RQII books all be like the forthcoming Glorantha Races book (combining all the singles together in one volume). At least that proves useful, is less expensive, and effectively takes the sting out of the needed re-purchase.

Leather! I had assumed pleather, but real leather!

Dunno how I'm going to break the news to my Pathfinder group that RQII will be the new hottie in town next month.
