Well, people turned up, which was a relief!

We currently have a Star Fleet league running, and a Traveller campaign kicking off.

Alan is taking an early lead in the Star Fleet campaign after a couple of triumphs with his Klingons in the morning games.

In the Traveller game, they have been rolling up characters, and it sounds like Ed is failing at, well, everything. Trying to follow the Noble career, he keeps getting injured and his physical stats are now rock bottom. In his first two terms, he tried to get involved in a conspiracy (twice), failed (twice) and had assassins sent after him, who pretty much succeeded in roughing him up.

Still, he is doing better than he normally does in Star Fleet, so it looks like he picked the right game.

If you fancy joining in on either of these games (or starting up a Dredd or Noble Armada league), the next Club Mongoose is on June 9th!

Sorry I wasn't able to make this one - I think I stayed up to late last night working on a uni assignment. I should be able to make the next one though.

What's the deal for entering a SF-ACTA campaign after it's started? Just start playing with the same fleet as you would do at the beginning?

Yeah, incorporating new players is easy with the SF campaign rules - and, frankly, you'll be ahead of some people who have played more games :)

On a related note, how open are you to playtesting different variations of campaign rules at some point? I've noticed that this campaign system has some of the same issues/features that a friend and I houseruled around for the B5 system.
I'll try to find my notes before I next turn up.

Note to self, when writing introductions to a game, read it aloud in 'Andrew' voice and then remove anythingthat can be used as an innuendo. Actually maybe i should just not bother writing an introduction if Andrew going to be involved :) .

My apologies for not turning up and without notice. A family crisis intervened. Maybe next time.

Sorry I couldn't make it, but recoverign from a long term unkown infection wipes you out, and I wanted to do the Bristol Comic Expo yesterday, since I could only have energy for one thing this weekend.

Next time though, and if I dig them out, A:2089 I think

I don't know what you mean. I after all only read what you'd written. I couldn't help it if people got the wrong impression to what you'd intended. <g>
