Traveller Blue Planet V3

Postby tauther » Fri Mar 16, 2012 9:04 am

Considering the past relationship between Mongoose and Red Brick, I've been a bit disappointed when I read there will be Savage Worlds Blue Planet version and no Traveller Blue Planet version...
Any chance?

If this is true then it's disappointing. Savage Worlds has it's strengths but it's a poor choice for the Blue Planet. The whole 'fast furious fun' motif really detracts from the hard science aspects of the setting. Traveller could work, although Legend would probably be more effective as it scales better which makes playing Orca a possibility.

Yes, there will likely be a Traveller Edition of Blue Planet. It's not on the 2012 release schedule at this stage.
