Indeed it would be nice but the licnse has gone and its not seen as a lucerative one to buy either thses days I guess :(

On the plus side - 2nd ed rules mostly work just fine - in fact playing tonight :) and gearing up for winter campaign using Dlgar War pack - see link below :) .

Actually, since I have missed out on a lot of the discussion, anyone have an executive summary of who owns what licenses and why?

It's a shame, I really liked the ship design and the only places to find Bab5 minis these days are exorbitant ebay sales or lucky finds at remote LGS.

The license is held by the IP owners (unless someone else has bought it up since Mongoose didn't renew), the reason Mongoose pulled it was because the demand for renewal was not economic - no license, no more sales of the game.
