Legends of Tekumel
It's certainly legendary enough if only for its publishing weirdness...

Re: Legends of Tekumel
I'd buy a Tékumel sourcebook for Legend (including a bestiary and Gazeteers for all of the Five Empires) in a heartbeat! I've been waiting for a set of playable rules for Prof. Barker's setting for years. The original Empire of the Petal Throne was fun, but the setting has evolved beyond the scope of the rules. While the setting book remains THE bible for all things Tékumelyani, Swords & Glory was waaaaay too crunchy. Adventures on Tékumel (aka Gardisyal) had too many holes, and I could never wrap my head around GoO's rules.Asyme wrote:It's certainly legendary enough if only for its publishing weirdness...

Re: Legends of Tekumel
Sandy Petersen did a full RQ3 writeup of a tekumel conversion.
But it does have a rather cursed history.
Having said that I own most of it and love it.

I too would fall over myself to get such a book, for all the reasons already mentioned by Mark.
