Crimson Skies RPG

Postby 2kuhl4you » Wed Apr 22, 2009 4:15 pm

Have you looked into trying to pry the Crimson Skies RPG away from its owners. I think a BRP or Traveller version would be a lot of fun.

Sorry for this blatant show of thread necromancy, but I just re-discovered this pulpy classic (I owned the PC game), got some gaming materials (both from the FASA version and the WizKids clickies) and...

Who owns the rights of the game nowadays?

Wouldn't it be nice to have both a RPG AND an aerial combat game (preferably 3D) for this setting?

But WizKids went under (they have been bought by NECA IIRC) and their Crimson Skies heroclix game (amongst several others) went OOP. You can still find it for a reasonable price over the Internet though.

I am talking of a new RPG and boardgame version. Who holds the license for the CS franchise?
