Mongoose News - Vehicle Handbook Preview

Postby msprange » Fri Feb 03, 2017 12:56 pm

The next Traveller rulebook is due very soon now - the Vehicle Handbook does for vehicles what High Guard did for ships, allowing you to build just about any design you can think of, modify existing vehicles, and comes complete with a veritable catalogue of vehicles ready to pop up in your campaigns.

We have put together a little step-by-step guide on how to create vehicles with the super easy system included in the Vehicle Handbook, having unleashed a set of players upon the design. You can grab the preview here: http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/pdf/vhbpreview.pdf

Military grade weaponry, a crane but no cargo space, and everybody has an ejector seat. Plus the wet bar filled with lovely alcohol.

I can totally get behind this philosophy. The vehicle could have done with high-traction rear wheels so it could really haul more stuff in a big trailer behind it. All the spare extra ammo for the military weapon, restocks for the bar ...

Nah, no such option. Just a matter of adding more spaces to the vehicle. Could have used a Hot Tub though, alas no room on the current size with everything else.
