Is it time for the State of The Mongoose?

Postby alex_greene » Wed Jan 06, 2016 5:38 pm

I would love to know if, and when, Matthew is planning on the next State Of The Mongoose report. 2015 sprang a huge surprise on us in the shape of Traveller Second Edition, and we're still seeing the changes to this day. I'd love to see what's in store for 2016.

Yeah. I mean, last year there was not a peep in the State address about Traveller Second. It's still ongoing.

While the second edition had been worked on for quite some time (pretty much started after the launch of the first!), it got the green light just a couple of weeks after the State was posted!

But yes, it is time for another State. I'll see what I can do this month or next but, as someone pointed out, Traveller (and Paranoia!) are the priorities right now.

Roughly how much will the new Traveller Core Rule Book 2e cost?

Seems reasonable enough :)

Same price as the current Rulebook (in the UK, at least - for the US it will be $10 more than last time, but you were getting a good deal all those years :)), but with more pages and full colour throughout!

I would ask when a State of the Mongoose is coming, but since I see you got Traveller Items on the release schedule slipping..
I kinda infer the state of the Mongoose is this:

Busy as Hell. Huffing and Puffing :( , with Bloodshot Sleepless Eyes, and Mongoose Paws  tired and aching dreaming to be rested on a nice pillow...
