Right, I've cleared all the above reports, and the OT section.

Will try and check the rest now

Thanks, but I'm afraid you missed one:

It looks like a harmless introduction, and it looks like that on the dozens of other forums you'll find if you do a Google search on the text of that post.

So that IP is banned. So what? Unless the spammers are even worse idiots than usual a) they have multiple ip's b) they keep switching them. Possible side effect of that is that mongoose could end up banning IP's that are actually used by customers...IP's aren't generally static afterall. Most have dynamically allocated IP which might get changed in 15 minutes!

Of course there IS possibility that spammers have been dead idiots and are using static IP. But that would require such an incredible stupidity that odds are slim.

I can reset my IP by unplugging my modem for 30 seconds.

I knew one idiot at a site didn't want me getting to his boss (and showing what an ass he was) so he blocked most IP's out of SPokane.. I know this because nothing I did at home, or at school worked (maybe he just blocked the range of IPs from those two domains)

I was mainly referring to ranges.. since alot of spammer come from RU. The only down side of course is it may also block lagitimate users..
