Stun gun stats (25th anniversary edition)

Page 89 (troubleshooters) states that stun damage is 3 rounds.
Page 92 note 5 states that duration is one round.
Which is it?

Also malfunction is stated as area stun and duration is rounds equal to "the roll above".
But there is no roll mentioned anywhere in stun gun's text

Upon checking, I see the error originates in the 2004 edition and was copied over to the Troubleshooters book. Ten years, and you're the first person to report this. Egad.

Go with the one-round duration in the weapons table. Ignore "the roll above." I must have copied this over from the original West End Games rulebook.

That's a good thing. People play Paranoia for the setting, not for the rules. Truth be told, I was a little anxious posting this question, because I was afraid I might sound like a DnD min-maxer. It was just my OCD kicking in.
