Setting Targets

Postby euansmith » Sat May 26, 2018 2:08 pm

I'm wondering if I've got this worked out correctly. I've was trying to figure out the average number of successes generated by each NODE.

I am assuming that the computer die only has a 1:6 chance of rolling a success (rolling a "5") and a 4:6 of generating a failure for negative NODEs (rolling less than "5"). With the Computer Icon generating neither a success nor a failure. I am also assuming that NODE: 1 (rolling only the computer die) is treated as a positive NODE.

NODE (Successes)
-6 (-2.17)
-5 (-1.83)
-4 (-1.50)
-3 (-1.17)
-2 (-0.83)
1 (0.17)
2 (0.50)
3 (0.83)
4 (1.17)
5 (1.50)
6 (1.83)
7 (2.17)
8 (2.50)
