Damn! Tomb of Mahjan - just noticed this one about 81 not 83 myself - you beat me to it.

By the Way, anyone know where the Illustration XVIII (opposite) on reference 306 in Shadow on the Sand is? Seem to remember the original had some dwarf hanging on to a near vertical Skyrider for dear life. :)

Caverns of Kalte - some references yield Blue Stone Discs instead of Blue Stone Triangles, I assume these don't work on either the Ikayan door or in the Tomb of the Mahjan.
Also reference 4 states a Bone Sword(k) has a +1 CS bonus in Kalte only whereas the one on ref 210 is +1 CS presumably anywhere but they are both made from similar materials is the one on 210 superior or did they just forget to put 'in Kalte'. There are other Bone Swords which are not +1 CS too in the book. The original verson doesn't have this +1 bonus.
I assume it is only in Kalte otherwise people all over magnamund would be after these instead of finest Durenese steel.

Could someone make a sticky (stickify?) out of this thread?

Adding a new error.

Mini-adventure in book 2. The link from section #22 to #52 doesn't really work. In section 22 Rhygar has travelled to Tarnalin and in section 52 he is back in Port Bax.

Since Durenon Bridge is half-way between Port Bax and Tarnalin he wouldn't go back to Port Bax.

Myself, I'd be inclined to fail his mission at this point (with new section) for going to Tarnalin since the bird would have fled by the time he arrived at Durenor Bridge.

Adding my own oversight in mini-adventure links in book 6. I apologize for not triple-checking the story links.

The first option on section 156 should read as follows:

"If you still choose to take him to meet Simyn in light of this new information, turn to 108."

Also, I don't know why the program I used to shuffle the numbers didn't separate 108 and 109.

Someone double check for me: Is Spell (Counter) used in the story? I sent an updated email and attachment after Joe's approval of the story, but it may have gotten mixed with the original I sent to Charlie. I had removed Spell (Counter) because I did not find a place to insert it in the story.

I must say, the humility I feel over these two small errors makes me have a much greater appreciation for the exasperation of Mongoose trying their best to make sure everything works, only to have something slip by and get published erroneously.

Those of us (I include myself, because I have in the past voiced disapproval with minor things) who demanding perfection and complaining because one little thing is wrong in a book need to lighten up. I spent hours writing, linking, reading, checking links, checking geography, checking timelines, etc., and still the errors occurred. Consider Project Aon--our gold standard in revising and correcting. They will tell you that long after they have published books, someone has found a minor error that they have had to correct.

We are human. We should remember what we do (and sometimes mis-do) is all being done out of love for our common interest--Lone Wolf.

Section 156... ? That's the largest min-adventure as of yet.

I don't think you will be able to get confirmation quite yet, because
I haven't seen any reports of book #6 actually being received by someone. Should only be a few days now.

Perfectionism in writing books is something all writers strive for, but in my experience there is no such thing as a perfect book.

I will update the errata section when I get my copy of the book.

Out of interest, what program was that?

Just read your mini-adventure (in fact before I even read the LW story), I think it is great. I understand your feelings on mistakes but I have to say I thought it was truly great, worthy of Joe himself. I'm glad I didn't read your post first because I chose Spell(Counter) but didn't get a chance to use it. My favourite Lone Wolf aspects are acquiring/buying equipment, re-visiting places and the skill choice dilemma - your adventure had all three! I don't have Prophecy or Divination but I have no doubt that when all the mini adventures are published yours will be amoung the best, for me anyway. At least I can now understand why I haven't been picked to write an adventure.

Here is an error from Book 6. The Bow isn't listed as a choice under Weaponmastery.

Noticed another one: Sommerlund is spelt Summerlund in the blurb.

New bugs for Lone Wolf #7.

Bow is not listed under Weaponmastery. (As for Lone Wolf 6)

The Improved Disciplines section is missing.

The initial section in the Equipment section, really, really should have been as in the previous Books. You did not take a Map of Elzian with you before leaving Sommerlund for the Lorestone of Varetta.

Adding these bugs and crymson's to page 1.

Tavig's action chart in book 7: The bow section says YES/YES should be YES/NO

Mini-adventure in book #7.

Link from section 110 to 48 is not correct.

Link from section 92 to 26 is not correct. Correct link is likely 90.

Literally just got Bk 7.
The equipment is very different. I haven't read it yet but how can you have a lantern (e.g. 107) if you don't get it at start? I don't remember any earlier opportunity to get one.

Red Fox 5 Items: Sword, Bow, Quiver, Rope, Laumspur, LANTERN, Mace, 3 Meals, Dagger, 3 FIRESEEDS.

Mongoose 5 Items: Sword, Laumspur, WARHAMMER, Bow, Quiver, 4 SPECIAL RATIONS, QUARTERSTAFF, PADDED LEATHER WAISTCOAT +2EP, Rope, Dagger, TINDERBOX, AXE.

Just twigged it! It's all Book 6: No Bow in Weaponmastery again, same Equipment, map name only alteration, and missing Skill Improvements exactly same description as in Kingdoms of Terror.

At least they got the right Lorestone name under Magnakai Wisdom.

For Mongoose and the Kai!
