Browsing problems

Postby Gimgamgoo » Fri Feb 17, 2017 11:41 am

Yesterday the forum had a brief downtime. Since it came back up, I've been having all the menu pulldowns opening on every page. In some cases, covering anything I'm trying to read.
This is happening on Firefox and Chrome on my tablet and Chrome on my phone.
Anyone else having this problem?
(Not had the PC on to check IE or Firefox on that)

Yes, I'm seeing the same thing on both my home and work PCs (Win8 and Win10, both Chrome). It's pretty annoying, especially as when you close one another pops up!

Agreed. Could be an upgrade to the forum that has gone awry, setting the default option for dropdown menus as "always expanded" or something along those lines.

Yup, rather annoying. Tried a couple of different browsers myself yesterday (Firefox and Chromium), didn't help so didn't bother trying a third browser or anything.

Seeing the same problem here for what it's worth. Win 10/Firefox if it matters.

Same thing here, but also with the reply options gone when I've come to post this reply. Looks like an upgrade gone wrong.

That was my surmise, too.

I concur. The situation seems to have been cleared up. Nice new design of the formatting panel and all. Yaay.

Thanks, Matthew and team.

Wow. Clear the caches on all of your browsers and restart your computer. See if that makes a difference.
