New to Judge Dredd

Good Evening all, i am a little confused, i am new to the Judge Dredd game and am i right in thinking that the lawgiver mk2 is weak and so gives +2 armor to the target and can not do critical hits?

No, I am afraid that is not right (the Lawgiver is a really good weapon!). What makes you think it is Weak?

Rubber ricochet ammo is weak, possibly that's where the confusion is coming from?
