Enterprise Transfers!

Hi Guys,

This is a bit of a begging post. I have just painted up "that ship" ready for some games and was applying the transfers from the mongoose publishing transfer sheet. I have applied every transfer no problem bar one! The obvious one. All the registry except the name of the damned ship went on without a hitch. When I came to apply U.S.S. Enterprise the transfer twisted and it was ruined before I was able to apply it properly. The ink on the trasnsfer came off the last half and I had to throw it away.

Now I would just but a new transfer sheet but as I only need the name it seems a bit excessive and I feel it would be unsellable without the Iconic ships name.

The question is does anyone have one going spare that they wouldn't mind parting with?

These guys will sell you a sheet of transfers for just a ship and the sheet comes with spare transfers in-case things happen.

I've got a spare NCC 1701 set you can have, just PM me your address (bought the Mongoose sheet as back-up 'cos I damaged the Tenneshington F-DN saucer registry. Twice ). Postage from the US for a single ship would be a bit much I bet.

One thing you can do to toughen up the decal before trying to apply it is to use a very thin coat of Microscale Decal Film. Do make sure you use a very thin coat, else you may have problems with the decal being too stiff to fit properly on curves (side of engines is a particularly bad place).
