Re: Official New Model Thread
How about the "movie" version of Dredd? Hell, and a movie version of the lawmaster to go with it!
Re: Official New Model Thread
Johnny Alpha and Durham Red would be cool - esp the latter
Plus JA did feature in a important Mega City storyline IIRC

I'd like to see a Cursed Earth Judge as well as Strontium Dogs.
Old B5W developer and professional shut in.

Re: Official New Model Thread
I'd like to add to the call for movie style judges; the very practical body armour and gear gives them a quite different look to the comic; plus they'd be a good draw, as others have said.

Re: Official New Model Thread
All the stuff on the Kickstarter is fantastic and a Dreddheads dreams come true. I would love to see judges from Atlantis (for pretty personal reasons
), but would also kill to see the following.
H-Wagon: The Manta will be a huge success its more or less set in stone, but having a H-Wagon would be just perfect icing on a great flavored cake. Got to be the traditional lightblub shape too.
Civilian Vehicles: If you have tanks and other vehicles for the Justice Department, then it stands to reason that the bad guys really need wheels too! A few vehicles would go down great.
Character wise? Well below is a list of what I would personally love to see.
Chopper as Midnight Surfer has already been mentioned by Matthew, but Chopper as King Scrawler and his nemesis The Phantom would rock big time!
Tweak and Spikes Harvey Rotten for nostalgia reasons
Jug McKenzie and other surfers from Supersurf 7-13 along with some Stig Corps mooks for added badness
Two Tonne Tony Tubbs everyones favorite fattie
I know that some fellow boarders keep on going on about Predator, Aliens and such but it isn't realistically going to happen due to licensing, but there are other things that could work really well, in their stead. Verminators from Incubus with gravpacks would be good, ideal for those hard to reach places in your blocks!
Dredd and Anderson in movie uniforms (Dredd 3d rather than the Stallone movie version) are a must, and perhaps even Ma Ma and some of her henchmen. Already looking at doing a few paint jobs of some older models so that they look like The Judged!
Forgot to add something and it just hit me.
HEAVY METAL KIDS
because everyone loves big droids that knock the grud out of things
Okay thats only the tip of the iceberg as there are so many things I would kill to see and if I had the money (please let me win the lottery tonight!) well you know where I am going!
One final thing before I finish, if you live in Scotland and can make it to Edinburgh, then head down to Edinburgh Games Hub from next month onwards as we are planning on running a whole slew of Mongoose Publishing related games (got a wee bit of experience doing that you see), including Dredd, A Call to Arms, A Call to Arms Starfleet Battles, Victory at Sea and many other greats including a full on Dredd roleplaying campaign! You can find out more about the Hub at its site below

Re: Official New Model Thread
Would really like to see a boxset with Hondo Cit Judges including a Hondo Lawmaster.
Also, please make it possible to add optional items (miniatures) to all pledges. How else can we get DeMarco and Perkins together without getting the counsil of judges?

Re: Official New Model Thread
I suppose the point is that if you really want to do this as part of the kickstarter you are encouraged to upgrade to a higher pledge level. Of course, if this is a success then these minis will be on general sale sometime in the future so you could get what you can from the kickstarter and then backfill later - that will give you time to paint the KS goodies!tchuck wrote:Also, please make it possible to add optional items (miniatures) to all pledges.
