Centauri expeditionary fleet (pic)

Postby abbot_amaury » Thu Jan 01, 2009 7:46 pm

Part of my second b5-fleet finished: a centauri expeditionary fleet. Some more detailed pics here. The FA- and B5W-scale combination is inspired by Court Jester's fantastic Centauri fleet.

Cheers, Hagen

They are lovely painted and the juxtaposition of ships sizes does work very well :) 8)

What is the ship top right?

very nicely done painting, is the interesting cruiser on top right a scratch build? not seen it before.

It's build from a B5W-Centurion (bow) and a B5W-Maximus (stern). As I intend to use FA-scale models for Centurions/Maximus only I had no more use for the B5W-models.

Called that thing 'Secutor-class prototype' - no idea how to use it yet - may be as a Liati....

They are awesome dude. I like the extra guns on the primus. The scratch build would make a good liati.

an excellent design... easily rubs the MGP Liati into the ground and jumps up and down on it for good measure.

Great job. The vibrant colors look great. The solid panelling and blending at the edges adds a great deal of visual appeal to things.

Did you do a Brakiri fleet before? Could have sworn it had the same highlighting style...

Brilliant :D

Does anyone notice the extreme difference in scaling between the B5W models and B5 by MGP? Are they all B5W in this picture or is it both together because that would explain it.
You talk like a Minbari, commander. Perhaps there was some *small* wisdom in letting your species survive.

it's a mix of b5w/Acta and the smaller FA scale, I though someone had already mentioned it?
