World at War Hobby Day

Postby MongooseMatt » Fri Apr 04, 2008 2:27 pm

Hi guys,

Had one of those 'I've Got An Idea' moments today. . .

Would any of you be interested in this;

One Saturday in May/June, we open up Mongoose offices, and you all come along with a couple of unopened 1/72 infantry kits (will cost you, maybe, £8), and perhaps a diecast tank or two.

We provide all other materials to get you painting them, and basing them, using Matthew's Patented Laxy Painter's Method (basically, getting them to battle-ready status). We do all that in the morning, break for lunch, then you fight battles with your new armies in the afternoon.

At the end of the day, you will know the rules, and you will have a fighting-ready army.

If we set this up, who would be interested?
Matthew Sprange

I'd be interested.

Mayhap you could get army packs for people to buy on the day from the approved supplier for the MI Matt?
