Wow, Does this mean Mongoose will not be making models of these down the road???

Either way, thanks for the unit cards. :P

Thanks for totally breaking the game with stupid cards. And I thought the Warrior 2000 was bad enough. MP has met and surpassed my wildest expectations!!

(In your defence, even though you will not need one with all the rabid fanboys on this site, I will say MP, you did make a great set of Basic Rules, too bad you had to ruin them with poor unit designs.)

OS Take it easy. Just don't use these cards if you don't like them. However I guess the PLA has found a weapon to knock out the Challenger II, the 1000 ib bomb!!!!

I believe these are listed as 3rd Party, implying that you play with them on your own time and, with your own gear.

I mean what exactly does,"Since Battlefield Evolution first came out earlier, players have asked us to release unit cards and rules detailing forces we have not released models for. Seeing that there are plenty of in scale or nearly in scale models for players interested in painting and converting their own forces, we will be releasing a steady stream of unit cards in Signs & Portents over the next few months, covering a wide range of units."

MGP pretty much disallows non-MGP models in Official Tournament play so unless they change policy due to other guys whining about not being able to use their British Apache Longbow

There really isn't much to worry about Old Soldier.

Let's just wait and see OK?

I just can't believe they went ahead and published the stats for the F-117, even though it was adamantly shot down (pun not intended, maybe) during playtesting because as a strategic craft it doesn't belong in the game. Guess they just had to put it in there. *shrugs*

The rest I'm fine with. Although why no love for the USMC in terms of anti-armor troops? :P

British and Apache Longbow together in one sentence just makes me sick...

What about that Euro copter that you previewed? Why in the world do the Brits need an American attack helo?

What's next? Power armor and Land Raiders?

Oh, I forgot, this isn't 40K

Perfect example of someone you can never please. Normaly I just read the forums and not post but this post really burned my butt. I have seen your posts before and for someone whom only likes only the basic rules I have to ask...why do you waste your time here? Jimeny Christmas!

I love the cards! From my point of view Mongoose just added more value and depth to my game.

Your Right, Capt. Nemo. Why should I expect a game on the very near future warfare to be even remotely resemble the hardware out there. I have already decided to not use MPs cards anyway. I do understand the need to keep certain weapons downplayed for game sake. Seems MP didn't.

As for all the fanboys out there that are crying about my comments. It is guys like you that keep things from improvements by blowing smoke up MP arse. Hell they could have gave you any card no matter how far fetch and you would be all licking thier boots and saying thank you.

Well thanks, but NO thanks.

MGP guys, I’ve defended you a few times here on this forum and on the evo command forums.

But seriously, what the hell where you thinking! Where are the USMC AT options, despite the fact their been crying out for it as long as the EFTF players, oh and the fact that the GERMANS where meant to be the EFTF's AT infantry  did you forget that? Hell it would of taken 5 minutes at most to change all instances of EFTF to USMC, and the pics to make a US AT section

And why the hell did you give the AH-64D a 400pts cost?  Why the hell did you not hold it back to make it a centerpiece model for the US Army faction? no $^!t that is over powered when you play tested it, try 500pts or until its play tested further, go for 600pts like what Petia had on his card and not putting it in a army that already has the best Pts for punch or stat line Infantry, Tank, APC and Spec Ops. And yes

in other words, this British bias has got to stop, i realise that yes, you think your Military is the greatest, their equipment second to none. However your making a game that markets around the world, hell, when i had a crack at making my own countries army, i attempted to let my bias take back seat and attempt to make the cards fair (yes, personally i believe that ADF troops are the be all and end all, but that's just me, others think differently) Why the hell could you of not done this?

i agree with the old solider, your basic rules kick ass, evo is one of the best game systems i have EVER played, and it seemed like you where doing well on unit design, but this British favoritism is just plain stupid. Pick up your act MGP, or you will find your player base rushing to people like Peita for there units.

I will praise you on the planes, they seem to be fair. I will be buying a F-35 for Evo use, and after I Photoshop a sane pts cost in, ill be using the AH-64D with my USMC based Chewmericans.

Note: I realise this is a rant, im usually a very laid back guy, however this has really got under my skin, considering that ive been demoing, pushing and spending a lot of time on this game only to have the company go and make some seeming wakco decisions

Oh for the love of.....

First off, did you folks even read what they intended there? To let you use 3rd party miniatures. You don't have to use them at all, same with the warrior cards from the previous issue.

I am glad to see some responsiveness out of Mongoose on this one.

The EFTF needed some AT teams and I do like having a peak at what kind of weapons may be coming up in the future.

I don't know that I agree with some of the unit choices, the F117 seeming especially odd.

That being said, some fo the new stuff seems very powerful, but I will reserve judgement unitl I get to play with them. I do hope that MP keeps this up in future S&Ps and all the complaints here don't dissuade them.

On a niggly point, shouldn't the F-35B card be listed as USMC instead of USAF (who are getting the Dave-A, with the USN getting Dave-C)? Of course the British can also use the F-35B, thus confirming more British bias :)
