sorry but there is no way we have lost 100 major units (carriers, frigates, destroyers or subs) since 82

as I said we have 43 major units now, not all will be at sea at any one time. We still have the second or third largest navy in the world

Aye thats what I'm meaning we might have 43 units but not at sea and yeah we have lost that many units , hell ships are no longer going to have permanent crews now their going to be rotated the admerality are non too happy bout it, but the cuts have been really bad i would say we're bout 4th in the world a sad echo of what we used to be, but when the new ships come along specilly the 2 new carriers and the new Ardent class subs.

Second largest in NATO due to displacement... I think number of hulls you might be either third or fourth though...

just added up the number of ships in the British and French navies, they have three more by my count

Hopefully that will change once the new ships enter service I'm looking forward to seeing the new carrier supposed to be bigger than anything we have had.
