Soooo... did you get more excited?
What do you all think.
After reading the latest S&P, did you get a littli bit more excited about the Forth?
I am.
I realy can't wait to even see some artwork about the Forth in person.
Seems to me they are very alien (meaning no four limbs etc...)
Nice work on the article.
Now give us some more!!!

Meh.
We pretty much had all this background in the previous draft.
Had I read it like 8 months ago I might have been pretty stocked about it, but the whole concepts had alot of time to settle in my mind.
I really like that bit of artwork at the start of the article though!

Lol, someone really let himself inspire by H.G.Wells and the NASA Foreign Life Science programm, but I really like it.
They aren't 'strange looking mutated humans' but indeed very alien.
What I wanna see most are the Hunter Killer Squads - it must have some kind of absorber base effect to see a group of these merely controll-bug-sized little creatures squeezed on one large base.

Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me.

I suspect my first tourney use of painted minis and my first win are not unrelated.katadder wrote:but surely they dont use counters in most of those? and without counters how will you play anything LBH?
your BF:evo doubles tourney must have been a shock to you having to carry actual minis.
But BF:Evo does come with counters, I mean what else is that bit of card with the picture on in the box for

Well as someone said before, skinnies is pretty federation slang for the race (And its canon to boot) so it actually makes sense in a way.
Forth on the other hand is just a place holder name for an upcoming product which hasn't been replaced... kinda like GURPS
(In fact wasn't that pretty much stated in the long long ago by mongoose?)
All the have to do is add a little bit of fluff mentioning a third race in the MI section somewhere and they can get away with it though I suppose lol.
I really wish they'd just print the stats for Cap troopers though, (And the brain bug
) I'd be a little more excited if I knew how my faction of choice has been affected by the rules shake up...

I really don't have any more problem with it than the Skinnies being called Skinnies Lol.
Its like in popular fiction calling grey Aliens "Greys" is hardly imaginative LMAO!
