The Askold is the first vessel to set sail from the shipyards...

The miniature is a Human Cruiser from Spartan Games fantasy naval game Uncharted Seas

Very nice indeed. Great detail on the planking and the water effect too, perticularly on the bow, is fantastic.

Makes me want to dust off my MOW collection.

May need to look into "Uncharted Seas" when I polish off the final purchases for CTA, then of course enlarging my Pulp Figures collection, etc etc.

Top notch as per usual.

(Edit - just visited the site - they should be using you Court Jester as their miniatures painter. Your Human Fleet ship is leagues better than the their promotional pics. You really have brought out the quality of their casting)

If the pen is mightier than the sword, just imagine what you can do with a paintbrush and modelling blade.

Now to decide what next for WW2 - perhaps more late war British, or perhaps some Yanks to go with my Pershing. I dunno....

I love this thread, it's cool being able to see other peoples work.

These are the latest planes I've painted up for Wings of War.

The plane on the left is an Airco BH 2. The on the right is a Fokker E.III.[/img]

Douglas Boston Mk. III, as with the Horsa it's from AIM. Fantastic model... not too sure about the green.

I painted these little guys some time ago, but wasn't able to post a decent picture of them because I basically couldn't figure out how to get my camera to zoom in enough. (the little book is all in chinese darn it)

If those soldiers are 6mm tall, I'm impressed! How did you paint the shields - with a microscope?
