Just a small suggestion: I´ve notived that your ship has a rather rough surface; you might want to heat up the metal some more to get a smoother result (that´s one of the advantages of resin, as long as you mix it up right, you´ll get a more reliable result quite easily)
pak´ma´ra chosen of god - very special!
Mr. T about the pak´ma´ra: "I pity the food!"
"Of course I like reporters - properly cooked!" - typical pak´ma´ra humour
"You know what Narns taste like?" "Yeah, chicken..."

i know...but don´t worry. this ship on the pic is still not polished. and it was the very first casted ship...the metal prototyp. and i don´t have used wismut pellets to get an better cast quality for this ship. the next ships have an better quality, naturallyMustEatBrains wrote:Just a small suggestion: I´ve notived that your ship has a rather rough surface; you might want to heat up the metal some more to get a smoother result (that´s one of the advantages of resin, as long as you mix it up right, you´ll get a more reliable result quite easily)

resign casts are a little bit better but i don´t use resign currently. i find it is to fragil for this ship... later i want to use resign, propably. but i you interested in an resign cast of this ship...i have one resign cast prototyp

here you can see the difference to the unpolished model.

Yes,that´s a difference already, but the edges are still a bit blunt-Wismut should help you there though. But again, very cool work!
