i was just wondering if anyone has been using or eyeing any sweet models for fleet landing party proxys.

They do look rather nice. I would like to see a larger picture maybe in a Plain or stained metal Black and White like GW used to do in the back of WD (ah those we're the days). I think that would make it easier to distinguish the relief on the model.

So has anyone actually picked up some of these minis? Just wondering how they look scale-wise compared to SST minis.

I have a set and they scale nicely to SST cap troopers.

I think GZG's free cal-tax troopers would work, as they are essentially armed with moritas. There a little small though.
