Catacombs Cover

I'm back-n-forth on the art we see in Conan. The last few supplements haven't bowled me over. But...that cover of Catacombs of Hyboria! That's a damn nice piece of art!

Wasn't it rejected for the core rule book?

I just love that pic, though. Rogues in the house, baby! Rogues in the house!

I dont like it, it looks like he's a-dancin'. It didn't surprise me when it was rejected for the 2nd Ed cover.

Actually, Ive changed my mind, after having seen the Thief's Companion cover, I like this one a lot now.

Like, and yet unlike. Frazetta was an absolute master with a brush IMO. I'd really really like a Frazetta cover. That would be great.

So that we're clear I like the theme, I admire the dynamics but those legs... Take this one for example (I hope I'm not against the board's rules now):

Thak should have shorter legs and not be able to lift one of them that high up. More like an actual ape in this respect.

Heres a favour I'd like to ask...

Is anyone clever enough to put the Thief's Companion logo onto that Frazetta pic, as a mock-up as to how it would look with a great cover, just so as I could see what it looks like?
