Please Mongoose, I am sure many people feel like I do. Conan is the greatest fantasy hero, give him a proper great rulebook... please

Its very obvious why, PRICE!!! the 1st ed was $50, I've seen other colour hardcovers going for $80+ Now if I'd had to pay $80 just for the core rulebooks pluse dice & supplements I'd have told mongoose where to go. Face it full colour glossy pages on every single page is eye candy nothing more. Thats one of the major reasons RPG's are declining, the cost of entry is enormous.Troll66 wrote:Mongoose's downgrade approach to its books is a miserable development - i ask you why?

Lets see, the full colour conan rpg was $49.99, still expensive for just a core rulebook and nothing else, too expensive for many people. 2nd edition, B&W interior art $39.95! There can be no argument, substance trounces eye candy every time!Troll66 wrote:A good example of an rpg which achieves both full colour and playability would be...
The Savage World of Solomon Kane retails at $49.99
