Fantasy Craft
Fantasy Craft
I was looking over the Mongoose site and saw this listed for May. Any news on this besides the blurb for it? Will we see any preview stuff for this? I'm really interested in it and wouldn't mind seeing more. Also any idea how much this will cost in the States?
Thanks,

Check out the Crafty Games homepage. I think before Christmas there were some teaser material of the settings (yes, the plural is correct) and other material as well.

The more I learn about D&D 4th edition, the more I want to learn about Fantasy Craft. Of course I'll probably buy both since I'm a dork like that.
I was ecstatic when I bought the last of the Stargate SG-1 books that I needed at Gencon last year. Can't wait for this year's Crafty Seminar either.

I'm not sure if "Spycraft lite" rules are included but there has been some talk about MasterCraft that will be sort of universal system. It will be a little lighter than normal SpyCraft 2.0 and I thing FC will be using these rules. I am not sure if these rules will be yet another core rulebook and FC will be just a settings book (with settings specific rules) or if that MasterCraft will be incorporated in FC book. Maybe there is more info in Crafty Games' web page?bunn27508 wrote:I read somwhere that the FC book would include the "Spycraft lite" rules.

A good question. Quick look at Amazon UK, shows this. And Amazon US, this.dorward wrote:… so when do we poor UK pre-orderer's get our proper versions?
I *really* want to get Fantasy Craft. To the point where, if I'm left with no alternative (that is, no option to save a little money), I'll have to fork over $60 (£35) to Mongoose to buy the book from their online store.

Amazon are rarely to be trusted when it comes to saying whether a book is in stock/available or not
Personally I only believe thay have it in stock if it's listed as "Get it by 1pm tomorrow wwith 1 day delivery" or whatever their speedy service is. I then proceed to order it with free super saver delivery

Just becsuse Amazon say a book has a certain release date that is in the future or is not yet available generally can not be taken as having any statistically acceptable correlation to reality

The book's page has been marked "On sale now", and copies were seen at GenCon, but I haven't seen an announcement from Mongoose about general availability…
