It looks like Mongoose is paying attention to us fans - which is great!
I like the new campaign every year idea - I hope one of them includes a extended military campaign as I have yet to put one together. maybe it could tie into the Age of Conan miniatures game. And the Bestiary is something I've always wanted to complete the Conan RPG. But I agree with Yogah that it should include a high percentage of new material.

I'm not sure I would need a bestiary. Most of the bad guys in my adventures are humans (sorcerors, soldiers, bandits, etc.), with an odd demon/monster thrown in here and there. These we ususally make up as we go, with whatever abilities we think are appropriate, but mostly to give the players a good opponent.

Meh...I'd be happy to just have all plants and animals in one book, but that's just me. New material or not, all in one book is WAYYY better than scattered around in the multitude of books as things are now.
Cohesive stats...that's something altogether different. Hopefully the reprints will be tweaked to make all the creature stats jibe with the formulaic nature of D20 so we don't have creatures with CON 13 and FORT +6 without explanation.

What's being worked on re: Conan line
Matt Sprange posted this at EN World:
I wonder, if the current 2nd edition rulebook is called the Atlantean Edition, what will the new 2nd ed. rulebook be called? (Gorm's Edition?)
Thought this was interesting and thought you may be interested. I'm especially happy about the .pdf updates to the region books. I had feared a RuneQuest turnover earlier this year, which Mr. Sprange discounted here and in the post at EN World, but apparently the reason for skimming the stats in the sourcebooks (aside from their being available in other sourcebooks or the core books) is due to this 2nd edition rule book. The more observant among you will have already seen there are few Conan releases scheduled for the next few months. This is because we are gearing up for a new wave of books that will expand the setting, make the game easier to get into and begin to tidy up everything that has gone on before. Foremost among these will be the Second Edition rulebook, released in the Summer. This will not be a huge, wholesale change, more along the lines of a few tweaks to bring in supplementary material and make the game easier to comprehend for newcomers. The current ‘region’ books will be kept in print, with PDF downloads to update them to the new rules where needed.
