Which title font? the front cover is an artist rendering, but the interior large red pointy font? I have no clue but would love to find out. it could be a mongoose homecooked font as well. pick up any number of font creating software programs and you too can one like it.
to my knowledge, there doesn't seem to be a commercially available "conan font"

No one knows the true story of the king, but I, his faithful chronicler. Before Conan, there was Osric, and his was a tale of glory.
The font in question is also more or less the same font used on the front cover of "The Coming of Conan Vo. 1", as well as, I believe, both the old Conan comic re-releases and the new comic as well.
Also, I believe that in the title design for at least the first movie, the "the Barbarian" was done in a similar style (I can't remember for certain).

go to www.abstractfonts.com a close font is called Desparado (sp?). Its in the Celtic Font section. You have to stretch the font 180%. Then it look like the Hyborian font.

Conan Font
Saw this thread after pulling my hair out looking for the font in question.
Justr thought to add my two-cents
*bump*
I am modifying the desperado font to look a little more like the typeset found in the Conan RPG books.
Though I'm no artiste, I'll update again when I have something that is workable.
Just as a point of interest, is Hyborian Font Mongoose uses available for purchase? (Hint Hint)

Click on the treasure chest of the left column (subtitled "servez-vous"), then go at the bottom of the page and you can download the fonts (zip files).Jason Durall wrote:None of the fonts are downloadable. The King wrote:Here is a cool font at http://www.fulgan.com/players/hyboria/frame.html (Erican Ornate Caps. at the bottom of the page).

If you browse this page, you can find some maps approximately in the middle (scrolling) with the title : "Les cartes".
This site is rather old and the guy developped his own rules based on Ars Magica.

I selected the "Servez-vous!" and scrolled down to the bottom of the page where the font are listed. All of the links are broken.
Please Help! The screen caps of the fonts look great on the web page!

However, I could recover both Erican Ornate Caps. and Lucida Black Letter (no Bucanner) from my old PC (pentium 133 -

Re: Conan Fonts
As a good necromancer I dig up the topic.
I found the official Hyborian font used by Mongoose (owner is Conan Properties). I have no idea if this site is legal and/or has the authorisation, though: https://www.download-free-fonts.com/det ... 9/hyborian
