They are 2 pages long. They look like a market flyer. (Flyers are great for letting me know milk is on sale but not good for detailing complex issues) they have every rule except flying and indirect artillery that is needed in most games. they also are clear(i had one serious rule qeury, and that wa...

No one has verified if tunneled bugs count as being in play. check the NEW rules for tunneling. only the models on the board count for the shatter treshold. new tunneling bugs aren't on table till they come up. ergo, they don't count. seriosuly, 3/4 of the rules query can be solved by reading the r...

Bugs can live in pretty much any planet. If SICON starts to crack open planets then logical answer would be for bugs to seed out pretty much every place, including human planets. Crack open your own planets if you will! they can't spread that fast(the stupid transport bugsa re pretty slow, and if t...

You end up cracking every planet open then...Ummmm...Where are HUMANS supposed to live then... most of the bug planets seem to be less than perfect for human life, and there are plenty other planets in the universe, enough not to try and reclaim ones from the most deadly life-form in the known space...

so,in conclusion, the standing definition is that the number of starting figs=total of models in the army, and only the number of models on the board is checked with that Starting number to check whether the army si shattered, da?

coz i'm a bit lost now

huh? there's aproblem with it? the number of models the ARMY started with=total number of models in the army list. after all that's what you start with, there isn't "on table" in that sentecne.so if you have an army of 50 models, but only deploy 12 models, you are automaticly shattered. that's all t...

(classing your troops in front as cover just seems wrong on so many levels lets not consider it.) it was also there in the 1st edition,. and in't not really cover, just being the unlycky guy that catches the first bullets  .well, maybye cover, but one-use only in most cases  (and yes, whe...

1) If you throw enough options on (shock sticks, lizard lines, heavy weapons, special munitions) you can fill up a card. Or at least force the type to be smaller, which makes things nigh unreadable. well,i'm not going to comment on usefulness of some of the more..elabroate options that MI have(liza...

so clearly sniping unit leaders with any ranged weapon is not really what Matt had in mind. what can i say...i think it's necesarry to write rules with the worst powergamers in mind.otherwise they will exploit rules. heck, it's sane to exploit rules if they'r there, and not even "semi" but fully le...

the cards are of set size, so it doesn't matter HOW much text there is anyway,as long as it fits, and i highly doubt that cutting down on that amount of text would affect the price in any way.
so, again,what's the difference?

Thats using the letter of the rules to defeat the spirit of the rules!
 how's that? the rules are very clear in this regard-you can place the FZ anywhere. if you want to snipe,go ahead and snipe, but you can expect the same in return. i see no problem here

425 for basic LAMI with longbow and Pee Wee, which gives 1 Fenirs and 3 fenos..... Who is going to win that? errr..... Either the Forth need a re-think or we need more units that can fight the forth. if the enemy's stupid enough to keep the Fenos together? lami,in one shot. but you cold take for th...

just went and checked the "Hits/X" trait in the rulebook. it's waaay longer than the "ignore first x failed saves" on the card.
you can have 5 words on the card, and remeber how many saves you can fail, or 80+ words and remeber how many saves you can fail.

But as this is not the case in SST: evo, I still think a PeeWee lost in power.
agreed, after all even the range of the template is smaller.but the real question is: is it bad:?:
If you kill it, it should just roll over and stay dead.
you'r one of thepeople who don't like zombie-movies?

It should still be able to take out a Tanker methinks.
i still is.
tanker has 6 hits, with kills counting as 2xhits.
it has 12+kill value,and can't take cover.
piwii rolls 3xd10+4. it needs to roll 8+ three times. hard, but not impossible

i agree with Dargoth, it's 5+ on the second turn, and then 4+/3+etc.(or 5+ till the moment you want to go up,handy 8) )
reasoning beghind this? you add =1 to the roll for each turn after the second(second game turn, not second turn of rolling!)turn ,and third turn is definetly after the second

i guess it's in the rules
Once an army has been reduced to a quarter of the number of models it started with (rounding down to a minimum of one), it is immediately
Shattered.

and that brings an intresting issue-the army books will be well, useless with the new ruleset, right? so, with the release of SSTE, would Mongoose put the now-redundant army books in pDF for free download?
they expected them to sell..well,not sell anyway after the anouncement
