That's up to the GM. Bester was planning on handing an *edited* version of the text of the Psi Corps sourcebook out to the rebellious teeps within the Corps, while Byron intended to release the original text+commentary out into the wild. Some of Byron's allies might have succeeded; Bester's plan mi...

I have proposed several things in the past relating to this: 1. The roll is an opposed roll - the Telepath's P-level + Telepathy Skill + Attribute Modifier + Feats (i.e. Ability Focus - Surface Scan, Commercial Telepath, etc.) + Situation Modifiers (i.e. Touch on a LOS ability +4, etc.) vs. Will rol...

A P10 should be able to get into any average mundane's mind. A telepath may be able to keep them out for a while. http://www.midwinter.com/lurk/guide/000.html JMS Speaks: "The amount of contact required varies according to the telepath's strength. Lyta at P5 needs a little help. A P10 could nail yo...

It's not like, say, the Vorlon Listening Post was immune to the weapons of the Whitestar fleet... Also, whilst the Drakh are Shadow Servants, they aren't entrusted with that level of technology; Their foot soldiers use pretty much mundane equipment. True. I need to purchase the Crusade DVDs, that d...

Well as points to consider against your points. similar weapons used differently can be much more effective. 2 F-15s flying against each other for example. The difference is in the pilot. If the Technomages say wrong hands, they may mean the Shadows, they may mean humans, they may mean anybody. It'...

Of course if they took scans before during and after of the ship, that could be used as evidence that they did not attack the ship. I know that the basic question here for him is, what are the salvage laws. On our world there are International Maritime Law and it is clear what is involved, or is it....

To quote somebody else" Class. Class. Shut up" That was me :D from an old Cheech and Chong recording. 4. How do you get Black Fist at level 6 WITHOUT using any feats ? With using feats? ie. Balance and Medical are not BOTH class skills for any class, and you require 6 levels in each. I could only t...

I just don't buy it. In Crusade (the only Season unfortunantly), Galen was EXTREMELY effective against the Drakh. Where the Drakh were servants of the Shadows, I would think that Shadow Tech would have protection against someone using their tech against Shadow Tech.... In Geometry of Shadows (season...

Skill Mastery
What do you think about Skill Mastery as a Feat?
It shows up under the Agent class.
Prerequisite: 8+ skill levels perhaps?

I'll be outline the Earthforce book in the next week or two - what would you like to see in it? 1. Ship plans so that characters have something for when they are on a ship. 2. Weapons 3. Pay rates based on Rank, Dependants, housing ("Off base" or base housing), food allowances, etc. 4. Explain how ...

Believe it or not, I'm with you on the rank thing - it does seem to be an extreme weakness of the d20 system; I'd previously gamed B5 using the Traveller (3rd ed) system and that covers the entire issue with ease as well as prior experience etc. Garibaldi is a Warrant Officer (which is funny). Warr...

If you involve the Centauri authorities, it'll cost you. Unless it was something they'd lost and were looking for it, you'll probably not even get a finders' fee. To my mind, the salvage laws will be, unless some one catches you doing it, it's yours :) If it's a Centauri ship, I'd tread carefully (...

I have a lot of gaming experience, from D&D (before they had even "Basic" and Advanced), Star Wars from West End Games, and a lot of games you probbly have never heard of in between. I personally liked the WEG version of Star Wars much better than the D20. I could refine my characters so that each w...
