My last trip to Lulu for a barbarian book was for this one: http://d101games.co.uk/books/openquest/the-savage-north/ http://www.lulu.com/product/couverture-souple/the-savage-north/6531539 Mostly setting and adventures, the book, although designed for BRP based games can, be adapted very easily to Co...

I bought the book when it was released and I found it rather interesting too.
Actually, I've rarely been disapointed with anything that Loz wrote. I even feel he's one of the best writers in the gaming industry these days. Most of his work is worth a look, so don't be shy!

Although not my favourite, the SW system is heroic and fast paced enough to fit the Conan genre. I like it better than the too crunchy D20 to translate Howard's fury in gaming terms. Savge Worlds Howard fans should check the wonderful Savage World of Solomon Kane . http://ecx.images-amazon.com/image...

The Kithai book is not so bad, it's just that it doesn't seem to fit in the Hyborian world. It seems to me that the book was written as the average Chinese flavoured standard D20 book and then roughly adapted to Conan. No matter who's responsible, it is indeed a shame that some of the major countrie...

I completely agree on this. I'd like to know how this came to happen. Some 40+ Conan books, a regional book for Kithai and no Turan sourcebook? Who decided this? And why?

Road of Kings/Return to the Road of Kings
Across the Thunder River
Ruins of Hyboria

To my eyes these three books stand well above the others.

It all depends whether you play the game for its setting or for its engine. It seems we have players from both categories here. Personally, I'll be ready for any Conan stuff whatever the system as long it's good stuff. It amazes me to see that some people would bypass a good Conan supplement if it's...

This is really great Matt! Huge thanks! I already own every Conan book published by Mongoose, but I'll keep on picking up stuff from other ranges from time to time (mostly RQ2 and Traveller these days)...

I wasn't thrilled by Trial of Blood, but it's true that Betrayer of Asgard, Across the Thunder River and Heretics of Tarantia rank among the best published adventures.
