It is interesting that unlike any of the game versions produced the only weapons on the Omega which actually have such restricted fire arcs are the aft lasers which are apparently fixed. All the others are on turrets... Hell we see the Agamemnon shoot the Streib ship with its forward laser at nearly...

Well I got the impression that they aren't actually building Nova's any more (most modern ships have a limited production run which once over they rarely build any more) and so any which are still around are those which survived the E-M war. Omegas were built in large numbers to replace the losses s...

Well there is the problem with trying to apply modern naval nomlecature in a sci-fi setting. Perhaps the meaning/role of a term has changed. Is the role of modern frigate anything like that of a frigate from the age of sail? Is a modern Destroyer specifically designed to hunt Torpedo boats? In fact ...

uhh i dunno. As Centauri never fire beams i have absolutely no idea what the Weapons fire from the Secundus is sposed to represent.....Twin Particles or Heavy Array....... Well the Twin Arrays on the basic Primus are obviously the turrets (otherwise the Battle Lasers would have wider arcs). The Sec...

Yes they do...

I was just saying that it doesn't appear to be firing its Heavy Arrays (based on the Mongoose Stats, AoG Stats then it would be).

Ah, but the according to the stats the Secundus' Heavy Arrays don't replace the Twin Arrays they replace the Battle Lasers (Unless your talking AOG) so the weapon mounts which the Centauri fired were the Twin Arrays (Range 8")... Or alternatively the Centauri ship wasn't firing from its maximum rang...

The old AoG station had Energy Mines so that's probably where they get it from.

Closest thing in the series is the big green cannon thing, although that obviously isn't an Energy Mine...

Well in the series the Shadows seem to take Armageddon level ships against everything... Even when they aren't allowed... Seems we all complained that they weren't powerful enough to seem like the show, now that they ae more powerful we discover that they can't actually be used much because they;re ...

have a look at the Secundus class example in SFoS  and mine are Tertius class Well the original purpose of the Secundus (game wise not fluff wise) was to explain why the Primus which blockaded the B5 in the series didn't fire its Battle Lasers. And that one had forward facing fins... But it r...

well some models come in a box some in a blister. the milani is described as a boxed set on a site i buy from. But if the Leskrati is anything like the AoG original it should be the biggest ship there, yet its the only one which isn't described as a box set... Anyway this off an independent sellers...

Wait!

Most of those Dilgar ships are AoG ship names for ships that have already been released as something else by Mongoose... ('cept for the Leskrati, still AoG but model never was released)

And why are some of them descibed as box sets? :?

Well the thing about B5 is that there is like so often in real life there is no really clearly defined good and evil. Take the Vorlons and Shadows for example neither actually fully good or evil. The Vorlons represent a peaceful but stagnant existance. Shadows represent a violent but vibrant existan...
