Very sad news indeed.....

I`m a play tester for BFE, and i must say very good rules, i have 3-4 modern rule sets, and some are tough to read, harder to play, pages of spotting rules etc, drives you mad. BFE is simple, and fun to play, new units all the time, and of course even that is set 10 years in the future, no big laser...

Hi i`m a play tester for BFE, and i must say mongoose is taking the big leap with pre-painted,and i say well done to them, also the BFE rules are very good, loads of scope to play with you know ideas etc, set in the future nothing stops you playing in any year... Me i`m just a stoat... Hi to Raczakt and Quark ( i like the pic Ras ) I`m no one special, i think i`m one of the 11 gunts, and know a little about the new stuff for SST... I have the SST boxed set, only black painted the bugs, but had a good read of the rules, since i`m a big fan of the films etc......

BIG things are coming for you SST guys, i cannot say what etc, but Big, trust this voice...

Thanks for clearing the rules up, it just when my ships sunk last week, their was no crew deaths in the end, just the death of my 3 ships.. Looking forward to seening the next set of rules, as you talked about the future the options of ship design if needed of course. I hope you go into the ww2 28mm...

Well just got back from my friends house, and played a quick battle, 4 colours counters on a wood floor..!!! nice and simple to set up... I give that a third hands up, and would love mongoose to let us know the chances of it, the idea of fighting alien races on any place of earth or on the moon / mars etc would be great, adding buildings to your base like turf in " gangs " chances to shoot down your friends ufo`s before the game start...

I would cough up money to help grab this title, x-come would be a great game, one person player the earth side and the other can pick one of many races to invade..... Yes i think a table top x-com game would be a very good idea, a cross between gangs and sst Now with all my work to do painting bugs i have to dig out my gangs rules and have a good read about it..
