evil classes are great as long as there are many so far we have seen the d.cultist, d.warrior, cener druids and the witch much more would be great, as would be other classes as well 8) But you do get 3 different paths for the Dark Warriors and 5 different ones for the cultists! That's plenty of var...

More seriously, I personnaly think that the modification: Sommerlund Knight -> Knight of the WM is easy to manage. I guess that the "perhaps" supplement "Might of Magnamund would talk about more "different" classes. Possibly Kloon engineers (sappers?) and Ogron mercenaries. And some southern and Va...

Re: Classes, classes, classes

Well, I am always looking for more options for my players (especially in the fighting and rouguish compartments) so I opened this thread to see if anybody wanted to post his homebrew. I know about the Kalte Shaman from TOTS, it is great! But I am pretty sure I remember a Knight of the White Mountai...

B5 would have sold more copies if the first 3 prints hadn't been destroyed before completion, and the 4th disappeared just shortly after it went for distribution. So the 5th print run had less money spent on it and so was the smallest of all 5. LBH You mean those prints were destroyed before ...

Ok, I've read through the whole scenario and that's about it. I haven't checked all the rules and skills for every character, but I doubt that's necessary.

One thing that must piss of Kai Lords is their psychic defenses seem honed to other kai lords, like how often is it ya have to fight for your life coz your old mentor turned to the darkside??? the rules should have been more general and less anti-darkai :( I'll just repeat another post from this fo...

I think the point trying to be made is, there has been lots of stuff for B5 and Conan, but not so much for Lone Wolf. It almost looks as if Mongoose doesn't have any ideas on how to support the line. I'm sure they have lots of ideas, but Lone Wolf probably doesn't shift the same numbers as B5 and C...

I always assumed people died younger because the standard of medical care was non-existant and hence things we see as inconvenient would be life threatening on Magnamund, so 70 year olds would be fairly rare. Even today there are countries where the Life expectancy isn't much above 50. In Afghanist...

Re: About the question on future product

The response "will see what Magnamund has in store for us" is very unclear. Precisely, what can we expect in the near future for Lone Wolf ? May IS the near future, and we can expect Dawn of Destruction and S&P 23. Other than that, we'll just have to wait and see, that's what Matt said. Patience, y...

Pretty much every picture I ever see of them in the books has them as grizzled, overweight but muscular trailer trash. I thought I did read somewhere in Legends about them having an unearthly but cold and cruel beauty, so maybe there's some merit in the idea that followers of different Darklords lo...

Not yet, but next month we'll see the Vagabond class, a pretty roguish character. Whether it's a heroic class or an NPC class remains to be seen.

It's Ulnar IV in the Core rules. So I assume he's the father of the King in Flight from the Dark. I think Ulnar IV IS the king in FftD. The gazetteer section of the core rules for LW suffers in this regard because the game was initially to be set in 5050, and when they made the decision to set the ...

We already have such sections in both the RPG book and the Darklands book, covering pretty much every major unique artifact from the gamebooks.

Re: ParanoidObsessive

I'm 100 percent positive that the lifespans of humans on Magnamund(normal humans) is no different than the lifespans of us on Earth. Beyond that, the data for rulers in the RPG handbook is off. Remember, the Companion also listed the same names(in most of the cases) for the rulers of these lands. R...

Drakkarim are also human. Just because they're from another world doesn't preclude them from being human.

The Rohirrim are from Rohan, not Gondor.
