Re: Jeesh

At one session per book, that means my group will hit 20 in eight sessions.<---that's some weird math you got there... Unless you mean one level per session per book? The logic behind his reasoning is that LW starts book 1 at level 5 (5 Kai disciplines). He's level 9 in book 5, yet he's level 13 in...

A lot of the information in the Magnamund Companion is republished and improved upon in the RPG book, mostly the Gazetteer. It also contains little games and an 80-paragraph adventure book, featuring Banedon as the hero. It comes up fairly often on eBay. You can also see scans of all its pages here,...

The Magnamund Companion had all those people's migrations across the continent mapped out.

The Drodarins encompass a few races, notably Dwarfs and Giants.

Although at level 10, a Kai hasn't "mastered" the basic disciplines yet, he has simply learned all of them. He will only master all ten once he reaches level 14. He has only learned all ten by level 10, but there is still work to do. Hmm. Good point... L14 seems a bit late to be "leaving early", so...

Question on the Darklands

On p. 144 of the rulebook, under Grievous Damage, it says that when a Darklord hits you, you need to take a Fortitude save with a DC equal to the damage of the attack +5. However, on p. 69 of the Darklands sourcebook, under The Gift of Destruction, the Darklords' Ruinous Strike only calls for a save...

Magic of Magnamund!

All right! Amazon.ca already have a listing for this, together with cover image (although I strongly believe that it will change, because it's only a part of the map :o ).

Scheduled release date: November 30!

a Magician of Dessi with both Strength and Charisma 18 can inflict, at the cost of 5 Willpower, 5d6+30, that is max 60 damage per attack. Where does that +30 come from anyways? I was wondering if the Dessi had to expend at least 1 point of willpower to use their wizard's staff in melee, just like G...

Re: Drakkarim Classes

Does the book include the Elite cavalry class (forget name - something like Zogonazod) for the Drakkarim? The Dark Warrior class can specialize in three areas of the Drakkarim army: archers, cavalry and infantry. At higher levels, the cavalry ride Kraan and Zlanbeast! I finally got the book today, ...

No such details yet. After the Magic book, there should be a Bestiary of sorts and Epic rules down the line, but we haven't heard much besides that. Maybe a book describing the Daziarn as well. And don't forget the Border Rangers class set to be described in Signs and Portents mag.
