I must say, i don't really think Lone Wolf gelled with D20 that well. There where a lot of things that just didn't seem to really reflect the books.
I look forward to the new release.

giving nasty situational modifiers to people using big weapons in crowded spaces (just TRY to use a bardiche in a crowded bar). There is a -2 penalty for using any weapon longer than a cutlass in a low ceilinged environment, such as in a ship. I think a lot of bars and other buildings could be coun...

Online games are probably the single biggest factor in the decline of pen&paper RPGs. I don't mess with them, I'll stick with the hobby (minis games, definitely part of the P&P RPG hobby) I've been with for 27 years. I have survived GW killing RPGs and CCGs killing RPGs. Im sure i can survive MMORP...

Re: Generic Spotting
Does the character notice a band of armed men questioning the merchants while they visit the bazarre? Personally I think this would be a bit blatant, so if the PCs where in the Bazaar I would tell them it is occurring without a roll. Unless the the Armed men where trying to conceal their Intent. In...

Multiple Maneuver Question
The rules say you can only use one combat maneuver per turn. Does this mean you can only use one in total, or does it mean you can only use one of them. I.e. If I have some way of getting multiple Attacks of Opportunity, could I use cat's parry more than once a round, as i'm still only using one of ...

Very much true also. But that book has not been published yet, so a re-issue of a core book is a good sign, that we'll see Sommerlund in print anytime soon! Being a Trek RPG gamer I'm a little sceptical about written but yet unpublished books. Decipher is sitting on a big bunch of Lord of The Rings...

Honestly, I think the older system was more accurate. As several people have pointed out, arrows against armor tends to be an all or nothing thing. You get a straight on hit and it penetrates deeply, or you get an arrow that bounces off the armor. Erm, as far as I can tell this is not the case. Mos...

Well, I found a cite in the Conan book that addresses this subsequently arising issue in this thread. On page 155, footnote 8 (PG p. 235), it refers to Disarm, Grapple, and Trip (but notably not Sunder, if it matters), and states "These attack forms substitute for a melee attack, not an action. As ...

print it on "dead tree paper" and you have it in a "physical form" (and just the things you NEED!) enclose the pages in some synthetic material so it will be harder to destroy change your 25 bucks in coins...so you can throw 25 times things at your players !!!! ....and it's all cheaper :) Probably ...
