More pics! http://www.agisn.de/PzKpf_VI_Ausfuhrung_E_Thor_1.jpg Hmmmm... I notice you attach the manipulator arms for your Donners on the rear mounts rather than up front (i.e. under the "chin"). Either way, great models. I didn't know anyone made a Maus in 15mm. Now I know. I'm going to post pics ...

Pinnacle has a licensing agreement not unlike the one Mongoose has for Traveller and BE. If you plan on selling your product you'd have to get permission from Pinnacle, but there is no cost for the license. (This was a major change from last year.) They do ask that the product by high-quality, with ...

Well, if Mongoose does do 2300 AD as a Traveller setting there's plenty of coolness (e.g. hover tanks, combat walkers, aliens who become smarter when they're attacked) to go around.

HG: No fusion gun turrets?

I had a chance to peruse a copy of HG at the local game store. I went straight to the weapons section to see what kind of new kinds of hurt I can mount of my ships. Railguns, cool. Torpedos, neat. How about turret mounted fusion guns from the original HG...? errrr.... I couldn't find them. Did I jus...

I also am disappointed that the Colin won't be part of this project; however, given how Mongoose has handled Traveller thus far, I think 2300AD is in very good hands.

Well, I'm back... Guess how many people showed up for my games.

Come on, guess...

One

That's right. ONE! I sat on my ass for about a hour into each session looking like a gorram fool.

I'm pretty damn disgusted right now. I'm this close to giving up on running convention games ever again.

Traveller At RockCon!

Hey all: As promised--or threatened, depending on your point of view--I'm running a couple of Traveller games at RockCon , in Rockford, IL this weekend (10/24-10/26). I'll be running the following games: Saturday: 7 pm-11 pm Taveller: Yet Another Bug Hunt. All right marines, listen up! Our orders ar...

Gruffty the Hiver's picture of the floorplans in use: I took me a couple of centons to figure out that those were the old B5 character minis. Awewsome! Does Gruffty plan on putting out his BF EVO rules for B5... or is this something that Mongoose has planned for the future? (Imagine GROPOS the way ...

Suggestions for convention games?

I'm seriously considering running a Traveller game at RockCon this year and I'd like a few ideas on possible scenarios to run. So far I've considering the following: 1. Run "The Starchild" from S&P. 2. Run "Type S" 3. Show the flexibility of the system by running a "bug hunt" scenario based on a pop...

OK... I'm visualizing this... I'm putting "out to the universe..." Bah! This "The Secret" silliness is New Age malarkey! I'll put this in terms that WILL work... Matt, if you put out a 2300AD book for Traveller, I will give you money. In fact, many people will give you money for such a product and s...

Here's another vote for transhumanist memes in the Traveller rules for those who want to use them. FYI, David Pulver, the author of Transhuman Space , also wrote Centauri Knights for BESM. While the artwork has a definite "anime" look, the setting itself is quite good and has a believable "hard" sci...

Starship combat should be fairly simple, as the orignal 2300AD starship combat system was also fairly simple. It's startship construction, making it fit into MongTrav paradigms, that will be trickly. Luckily enough, I still own the 2320AD design sequence, so that should help. I didn't mean that it ...

:Ahem: I meant the city of Victoria... As to the rest of the question, I would like to see that come to pass. There is nothing official yet, though, in any way, shape or form... Well, that's the beauty of Traveller now having its own OGL. You could very well do this as an effort independent of Mong...
