Are we talking about gun turrets in general on EA ships or specifically railguns? Because the forward mounted turrets on the Olympus were the pulse/plasma cannons under AoG... On the Artemis it looks like they sell it with just one form of turret now, the AoG model had Omega style turrets for the mi...

Had a little bit of a search through my AoG stuff (handy as the SCS have most weapon systems displayed on a one to one basis in their rough locations on the ship) Chronos = 4, located roughly in the corners of the ship, however the model has changed shape from the original AoG design and this doesn'...

On numbers I believe the following (for the standard hulls at least) Olympus = 2, one top of the tower and the second somewhere on the ventral hull. Artemis = 6, four mounted in pairs top and bottom of the protrusions on the forward hull, and the other two mounted side by side behind the tower on to...

Well if you blow chunks off the ship you've reduced its mass, thus (in the unlikely event that you do this without damaging their maneuvering thrusters...) they may well actually be more maneuverable...

I was only stating the real physics behind it (or at least as far as we understand them, since no one has ever detonated a nuke in space we can't know for sure...) Within the series itself there are the two case I mentioned which indicate that within the B5verse nukes do indeed have a blast effect.....

Strangely the Shadow missiles hits on the allied ships were actually the most accurate representation of nuclear weapons in space in the whole series... The Black Stars destruction and the mines used at Coriana VI are actually highly inaccurate... The massive blast effect of a nuclear explosion is e...

As the forum moderator i'd say he's the best person to speak to about stickying a thread...

As I said I thought it was one of the better episodes of the season, it was more the fact that such a major event was completely forgotten later on once they had returned to more conventional episodes that was poor (a bit like Thirdspace in fact... the movie itself was ok, not the best but ok, but w...

Just to play devil's advocate here... But considering the Shadows organic technology most living creatures actually have several single points of failure... Likely because they weren't one of the major races or members of the league (which a lot of the "mentioned on the fly" races were) and thus there was never any supplement suitable to put them in. Plus they were a somewhat badly handled plot device in from what is IMHO the worst of the B5 seasons (ev...

There is one theory that they are the Wen'dan Horde a race that had previously attempted to invade the B5 zone of space sometime in the last 1000 years but had their butts royally kicked by the Minbari... Not sure where the stuff about the Wen'dan originally came from though they were mentioned by A...

And a very piss-poor piece of tactical starship design it is to!!!

I mean the mark one eyeball is mostly useless when your targets are several hundred thousand km away, why do you need to see out?
