Very cool adventure, thanks for posting it. I read it through last night and it looks great. I think more of us should write and post our own adventures like this. And, of course, when I say "us", I mean all of YOU more talented and experienced people.

I've been reading a bunch of Conan pastiche lately and you're right, there are some real dogs out there. I haven't read Conan the Warlord though, thanks for the heads up.

I've got both of these books on preorder. Looking forward to both of them. I love a good pirate scenario!

It's always good to "spread the word" on this great game.

I also agree. Great story, very interesting and gives some depth to the character. I wasn't a huge fan of the art, but it does fit the story. Overall, it is definately worth getting.

I voted "complete". I get them all as soon as they come out. Great game - I'm loving it. The only thing I don't have is The Pocket Edition.

I think I like your original idea better - the total levels are what matters. 1st level is 1/2 of 2nd level and 1/3 of 3rd level. It seems to fit the "feel" of Conan more to me. There always seem to be a lot of cannon fodder, and only a few trusted veterans. But great moderation on this feat though....

I'm really looking forward to these titles. Dark Horse has done a great job with Conan so far. They really seem to "get" REH, and respect the properties and the work.

This brings up the fantastic idea of mining old (or new) adventures from other games for adventure hooks for the Conan game. This is something I haven't done that much of, but will from now on. I usually use the Conan books or other fantasy novels.

You are right - there are some absolutely fantastic covers on these issues. I have most of the issues in the series and personally like the stories in and arount issues 50-75.

I personally like the Robert Jordan Conan stories. It is definately NOT REH, but the books are all entertaining. I have both of the collections that you mention and have enjoyed reading them several times. They all have lots of action and let's just say that Conan does VERY well with the ladies! Of ...

With as great as Mongoose's Conan products have been, they always seem to have trouble with maps for some reason. I'm still waiting for my Shadizar map!
