Re: Pre-Order the Traveller Starter Box Set

If I pre-order now do I get the PDF now, or do I have to wait to get the PDF at the same time as the hard copy?

Re: Traveller Starter Set?

I'm interested - although would want a hard copy plus PDF option as others have requested above. But, preview available (several character sheets) is of no use to anybody (IMHO) - I'd like to see examples of what the content, art, layout, maps, deckplans, handouts etc look like; not three different ...

Re: [Stellagama Publishing] These Stars Are Ours!

Sounds interesting - but I couldn't get the preview to open (and to be honest, am unlikely to buy without considerably more information than is available in a small Drive Thru preview, I'd want to see a full size preview at least and maybe more info on the blog). Will be keeping an eye on this thoug...

....Humans have come to Motherlode three times, the earliest around 27000 years ago - 20,000 years after the extinction of the Benefactors, at a time when glaciation was at its height on Earth, humans settled in the Motherlode system. They had collapsed back to near-barbarism by the time the Shackl...

Have to say that as a teaser, hook/USP, major selling point or difference from the OTU for a new setting 'jump times are a bit different' doesn't really do it for me.

@GK Games.
Please produce more starships - I've run out of things to buy.

Thanks.

Re: 2300AD Star List/Map question

Fusor - I appreciate the pointer to FB. I'm not a user (one of about five in the world, I think) but I'd wondered where 2300AD online discussions went! I will check it out. Ah, well there's all those that don't have internet access as well. But interesting if there be only 5 in the world and two of...

Re: [GK Games] Ships of Clement Sector 13: Strikemaster-class Brig Now Available!

Another top notch ship from GKG. I'll be staying with your OGL ships range as long as you keep on making them. It's great to have a consistent range of ships that all fit the same background/context and work from the same assumptions - even if I'm planning to reskin most of the fluff and potentially...

Re: [GK Games] Ships of Clement Sector 10-12 Print Compilation Now Available!

All third party materials using Traveller 1e will disappear at a date which is near. The exact date has not yet been determined but it will be quite soon. Will they? Why? Surely as boosk published under the OGL they can continue to be published forever and ever - no matter what edition of Traveller...

Any idea when this will make UK distribution? Leisure Games don't have it yet and it isn't on their new releases list for March 1st.

Is this in UK distribution yet? I'm not seeing it in stock or available anywhere other than direct from Mongoose?

Re: New Release - Atlas of the French Arm in Hardback!

Looking at the preview on DTRPG there seem to be a fair few typos in the file.

Are these corrected in the current PDF - and how is the new hard copy, has it been corrected based on feedback on the pdf?

Re: Pirates of Drinax Kickstarter?

I'd like to see a PDF version of teh Trojan Reaches map, but with systems/details shown in black and colour on a white background - so it could be printed out large scale for use, and the GM and PCs could write notes on it and draw in new trade routes etc. As an added benefit it aslo wouldn't kill p...

Re: New look forums

I have to say, I hate the new look for the forums. Can we have the option to use the old style please!? Or at least be able to change things around a bit - it's far too anaemic in look with the 90% white and a splash of blue. I at least want to make the surround background a bit darker. This +1. Ne...

Statistically isn't the TL 12 verion better than the TL 15 one proposed. Average of 7.5 intercepts to 7 for the higher TL one?

Maybe 1D6+2 / 1D6+4 / 1d6+6 ?

In any update/current version maybe we could amend or rename the 'stewardess station' to something more gender neutral or just functional. But hey, 1999 was the 20th century after all :)

Re: A New Edition of Traveller

When I found out that this was for the PDF only via DTRPG I realised how worthless an offer it was. Mongoose are part of the Bits and Mortar programme in the UK - so I buy a hardcopy Mongoose Traveller book from an actual store (typically Leisure Games in London) and I get the PDF included, no need ...
