Well as the Religious and Worker castes also operate Sharlins, and its the workers who actually manufacture the stealth systems I think there is a wider distribution than just to the Warrior caste.

Well the Medium Plasmas originate from B5wars where they were actually an earlier weapon, the early Hyperions had them instead of all the Pulse cannons as well as at the front. They were powerful but slow firing and suffered from range problems (due to their damage dropping off the further from the ...

"Main Character Immunity" The player possessing a ship with Main Character Immunity need never roll any dice relating to that ship and assumes that all dice that would have been rolled come out at their most successful result. Also the ship cannot be destroyed unless so stated in the script. The opp...

Well any single or twin engined aircraft with two or less crew which can carry a range of munitions gets refered to as a fighter. But why the F-117 is an F and not an A I have no idea, then again it might have been an attempt to confuse the russians... But the F-111 is also an F and that isn't...

But the agamemnons laser is quite obviously fitted on a turret which traverses horizontally as well as vertically. I mean look at it in relation to the turrets futher back, they very alike and just align the other way, the barrel can move outwards on the mount. Plus a ship can roll in space so that ...

This is from the Lurker's guide, a quote from JMS: Correct above; Sheridan says, quite specifically, in the conference room with Ivanova after the Grey Council guy is gone, "they used some kind of stealth technology WE'VE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO BREAK." It's not a matter of old or cheaper tech; we just ...

Maybe he's just to busy to give the "proper" data and sends them there for non-canon-but-quite-good answers? And maybe he didn't have an answer because he never bothered thinking about that level detail (he was, after all, trying to tell a story not create a massively detailed universe for wargamin...

Or you could allow a ship to only be locked on to one ship at a time, using all its sensors to maintain the lock on the one ship.

I was only saying that the only Hyperion we see fire lasers fired them from the side turret so the forward fixed guns aren't where the lasers are. In B5wars those were the medium plasma cannons, which seem to have gained a forward arc despite their limited traverse... :?

Well the target needn't have been in a boresight to be fired on most ships with boresights in the game don't have them in the series. Such as the Clarkstown which fires its laser from one of the side turrets which look exactly like the pulse turrets so should surely have similar arc capabilities. Pl...

I think Tzarevitch had got the wrong idea from some of the earlier posts and thought that Dodge somehow cancelled out the re-rolls from T_L and CAF.

Hope that clears that up.

But those initial hits or misses occur whether or not the ship has dodge. The part that confuses me is that dodge causes the net effect of a miss. But because the miss was caused by a dodge roll instead of a missed initial hit roll, Twin-Linked and CAF don't get to re-roll but beams DO get to re-ro...

You'd need to be damn accurate with your jump points, oh and since it was powerful enough to destroy an undamaged shadow ship it is probably beyond the scope of the game. And it was only used once, so obviously not a tactic people are gonna want to replicate. A bit like jump point bombing actually.....

Plus the more hits you score the more the ship has to dodge and the more chances it has to fail. Thus Twin-linked does have an effect. A weapon with the same stats but no Twin-linked wouldn't get those chances to re-roll its initial misses and would score less hits in the first place, meaning less d...

Mongoose bought the AoG moulds so ACTA ships are the same scale (in many cases the same minis) as B5wars.

The ACTA fighters were originally FA scale ones. B5wars used larger single fighters (the Vree patrol ship, can't remember the name is actually the B5wars scale Tyzmm fighter).

Well since most of the Mongoose miniatures are actually AoG ones they wouldn't be in a different scale, but since they never produced models for them anyway...
