But I am real curious, how would Mongoose electing to publish a Traveller based B5 book make all of the B5 fan’s books useless? Don't know. I'm still running games in systems that were dropped years ago (Alternity), and guess what...They still work and I still get new players interested in the syst...

I have been searching for other systems and when I think I have found and interrestingly new game world or something, I order it and it shows up, open it and behold another d20 rip off, its getting me very tired. Makes me glad that I have a fairly large selection of RPGs from before d20 came about ...

always liked the books but it's been too long since I've read them to feel comfortable running in that world, also my players are unfamilar with Thieves World. I would consider getting back into it to run it in RQ but I'm afraid that RQ is a temporary game for us (I'll still collect the books becaus...

I haven't created my own setting to use with RQ but I've been busy converting other settings to it.

I've started work on both Palladium and Warhammer.

I've gotten more work down with Warhammer so far since it's been the easier to convert.

Not a bad idea but I think I'd like to see an original world along those lines.

Dream Pod 9 designs all their art and such in full color and then print it in black and white, or at least they use to. Not too sure about their newest books.

Anyway for the art it always seemed to work nicely.

I've gotten several books from Mongoose recently (since the change to outside printing) and they've all been fine. I looked thought a copy of Traveller at a local store last weekend and it looked fine too (just didn't have the cash to pick it up).

It may be fairly popular but I have the same issue, no one around here seems to have heard of it either. And of course the local game store doesn't carry it. Heck they don't carry much of anything RPG related anymore.

Character Level

Ok I noticed under the Reputation rules different levels of character (local boy, seasoned, veteran, master, hero). And I was wondering what qualified one for these different stages.

Well I took your advice and emailed them to find out if the order had shipped and have yet to hear back. Hopefully I'll hear back soon since it's been about a week.

I don't think the world used in the Belgariad would work as well as his other series (The Elenium) with the Church Knights. Though to be honest I would rather see something completely new and not just someone else's work made into a game setting.

I'm a huge fan of books, and have never had a problem moving large numbers of them. Though out college I'd bring my books to the game site and for a couple of years that involved a decent amount of driving. As for ease of picking up the rules I have no doubt my players will pick it up quickly since ...

I picked up the SRD to read over the system and get a feel for it. Now I've orders the books and am just waiting on them to arrive. Once here I plan on getting a game together. I've sent the link of the SRD to my players so they'll be ready to start on this once the books are here (sadly my players ...
