Re: Undercity Terrain

How did you get the rust effect on the smooth plastic pieces? It's sort of like a drybrush. I use an old, stiff brush and prepare it as I usually would for a drybrush, but I just increase the pressure, almost scribbling on the surface as though I was using a marker with little ink. Then, in some ca...

Nope, but I want to slap myself for not thinking to add them to my list.

By then we'll have dropped this new game and be on a totally new Dredd minis game, right? :P.

Re: New Dredd Models - What do you Want?

Also, a quick addition, being able to get a package of holding posts without the perp attached would be terrific.

Sealed Undercity Gang box to trade.

Back in the GoMC-1 days I bought one of everything initially, and then later more of a few other things. I ended up with an extra Undercity Gang boxed set that is still in the shrink wrap. Rather than put it up on ebay I would rather trade it to someone. Preferably whole but I would be happy to spli...

Just Finished! Gunge Vending Machine.

After my last vending machine (Which can be seen here at http://forum.mongoosepublishing.com/viewtopic.php?f=102&t=50556) I had the vending machine bug. They seem to make such great accents to the gaming table and can even make good objectives (What gang wouldn't want one of Otto Sump's vending mach...

Re: New Dredd Models - What do you Want?

I would like to second the request for Brit City judges. I think the Lawmaster issue has been beaten to death, but I'll give it one more kick anyway. Organ leggers would be neat to see, and I would buy a couple. Some people who have been to Otto Sump's ugly clinic would be cool. Weapons, weapons and...

Re: Undercity Terrain

I posted some pics of my JD minis in another post and the background is made of the wall sections mentioned above. I saw that thread, I thought the minis and the background looked quite nice. Here's a little building made out of an outlet wiring box. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g246/Kardak_Le...

Re: Undercity Terrain

Cool thread! Keep it up. A shot of the whole lot set up ready for a game would be cool if you can manage it. The whole setup isn't quite finished yet. Those are great figures, too bad they are limited edition. Here's something I just finished, how many years in the cubes do you think you would get ...

Here's another piece. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g246/Kardak_Legaius/IMGP6450.jpg The elevated floor is the front of an old beach radio, the walls are VHS tape and the walkway on top is a piece of a plastic harddrive case. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g246/Kardak_Legaius/IMGP6454.jpg htt...

Re: Undercity Terrain

Fantastic scenery and I like your Tri-D presenter (who makes/made those?). I agree, more media-types and characters would be fun to paint and use in mini-games and the Dredd RPG. What did you use to make the scenery? Is it scratch built? The two non GoMC-1 figs are both from em-4 miniatures. In fac...

Undercity Terrain

I haven't posted anything here since Gangs had it's own board. Here's some recent stuff. I still haven't gotten around to painting my judges, though, so I mounted a Heroclix Dredd onto a base for photos. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g246/Kardak_Legaius/DJ.jpg And here you can see the tri-vid gu...

Wow, what is that called? That is seriously nice.

I could see making a Justice Department vehicle out of it, or maybe some kind of Klegg vehicle.

If I manage to get hold of another two sets I'd be able to have the sidepods AND a four abreast trailer being towed behind! That'd be half the table used up! :D I don't know if the older Super NES RPGs were your style, or video games from that area in general, but I have a soft spot in my gaming he...

When you have those side pods lined up like that that thing is a monster! I would love to see the Judges taking down that thing, maybe with the Angel gang behind the wheel.

I don't think you're causing a stir, you're really proving the same point I am trying to make. You are using figures that are, by the numbers, good for the scale this game claims to be. But as you yourself stated these figures are bigger than the claimed size. so you would need vehicles that are big...

when it comes down to it, I'd rather have it impressive-looking than small and weedy. Sounds like an enzyte commercial. Seriously though, that is exactly what I was saying. The scale you use is the same scale I use and the way I chose the scale is by sitting the Lawmaster Judge in the seat, he fits...

One day Kardak you'll trust us on the scale issue. Until then here's some photos of the Mega Rig Space set I bought. I think we'll have to agree to disagree on that one. I just can't get into the aesthetics of a ganger standing by a two seater car and you can tell he would be able to straddle it li...

For good ooze I have three methods, going from least expensive to most they are: Green tinting or ink and a hot glue gun. When the hot glue is still soft get it where you want it with the gun, glob it in a big glob where the leak is and then let gravity pull it down and drip. Then ink it while it is...
