Ice bridge

I have a similar situation in mind for my game. You might want to consider my version, as well. Anyone that falls off of my ice "bridge", plummets into icy water. So it's not instant death, but they will have to make Fort saves against subdual cold damage. They risk passing out and drowning, unless ...

Encounters

It's just a generic table, as far as I can tell. I'm guessing it's more of a "quick plot" than an encounter table per se. If you roll "freezing cold" for example, I imagine the PCs have to make a trip around the side of a mountain, and make Con checks every hour against severe weather (1d6 subdual d...

The Olmecs....

http://www.wsu.edu:8000/~dee/CIVAMRCA/OLMECS.HTM Ah, here we are. Looks like the Olmecs would be characteristic of the folks one would run into in Conan's time. Their civilization thrived back in 1200 BC, and then they mysteriously disappeared later on. That's pretty cool. I'll need to read up some ...

Uploaded materials

As a matter of fact, I had just about all of it in a file on my PC (my work PC, no less!). So I put them back up there.

Hey, where are you guys?

I've only got about 5 people signed up for the group. If anyone knows any of the original folks from the old group, send em over!

Tenochca, or some variation

http://www.wsu.edu/~dee/CIVAMRCA/AZTECS.HTM

Here's a decent history lesson.

Looks like if one were to create an Aztec nation for Hyboria, its name would probably be a variation of Tenochca.

Tenotha, maybe?

Country names

I must admit, I'm not all that familiar with the ancient history of South America. Does anyone know if the Aztecs, for example, had a name for their lands? That would be a nice phonetic base to use for a Hyborian nation.

Yahoo groups

It takes all of 5 minutes to start up a Yahoo group, and it requires no maintenance. I can set it up, if people still want one.

The Americas in the Hyborian Age

Has anyone attempted to create the "North and South American" continents for Conan? This was hinted at in the D20 book as a decent campaign setting for those who wanted to shy away from the "usual" Conan-dominated setting. Sounds like it might be a good dodge sometime. I was thinking of creating Sou...
