Like most of you, I don't use Conan directly in our games. Our adventures are set when he is still the King, in his later years. He paid the players salaries when they were guarding the Pict Frontier, but thats about it, nothing really direct.

There are so many locales that REH never got around to exploring, so feel free to create! I say, if it works for you and your players, and is "true" to the feel of the game, then go for it.

We've often played with only one or two players. I actually think that Conan plays better with a smaller number of characters.
