Do you want typos pointed out in this thread?
With the caveat that the Journals have not been proofed (that happens later), by all means!

Re: Journal of the Travellers' Aid Society - Kickstarter is Live!

It is going to depend a lot on the exchange rate, which we think may go pear-shaped this year, but something around £20 for each volume seems about right.

Mongoose News - Journal of the Travellers' Aid Society - Kickstarter is Live!

The Kickstarter for the Journal of the Travellers' Aid Society has begun and will end on April 7th! The Journal of the Travellers’ Aid Society was a magazine-format way, way back in the ‘Classic’ Traveller era of the early 80’s, a treasure trove of articles, introducing many of the concepts we take ...

Re: Opinions about the new site

Hi everyone,

We are aware of a couple of 'features' that need ironing out on the new web site - but thank you for your comments and keep them coming. We want to hear all your views on how it can be improved!

Re: January Playtest

Can anyone find actual instances of such guns being captured and then turned to fire upon their original owners in a short space of time? Can't recall anything off the top of my head, but my coastal gun-fu is weak.

Mongoose News - Journal of the Travellers' Aid Society - Kickstarter, Friday 8th, 10am

This Friday, at 10am (GMT), we will be launching a brand new Kickstarter for Traveller – and we are rather excited about this one! The Journal of the Travellers' Aid Society will begin as a three volume, slipcase set (we are hoping stretch goals will unlock more volumes at no extra cost to you!), ja...

Re: January Playtest

~ How much do Landing Boats and Transport Aircraft cost? Do I get "enough to carry the force" for free? Assume they are free for now (likely to change, but they will be very low cost). ~ Since all big gun emplacements have to be placed on an objective, what happens if the attacker successfully capt...

The Aliens books will be big - the first is over 250 pages.

As for the new web site... we have just been informed that it is going live on Tuesday...

Re: Cruisers vs a Single Battleship

or a 'fast tracking' for the 6" weapons that just happen to be classed as turrets rather than light guns, maybe that might give cruisers more of an in-game role? That could work very well - if everyone would like to try that for a game or three, please let me know how it goes. Would be a very neat ...

We have been talking about this, but it may take a while for us to get things together properly - in the meantime, if anyone sees a good one out there, let us know and we will promote the hell out of it!

Re: Traveller french line

Hoping that you could progress anyway during the Xmas break... Is March still a reasonable target? or should we consider the release date as TBD again as "Behind the Claw" and "Shadows of Tindal" must probably be more important businesswise? We are hoping that all three will arrive at more or less ...

Re: Playtest Northern Patrol

Yeah, this scenario has always had a big question mark over it - we have tried a few approaches to make it work, but we have never really been satisfied. Likely not going to be in the final book... Also, you would all be welcome to include Mr Bax's rules for Light Guns vs. Heavy Armour in your playt...

Re: State of the Mongoose 2018

Does Aliens v1 have a "new" sector with official UWP data? One for the K'Kree. No, the Alien books concentrate on characters, equipment, vehicles and ships - basically, everything you need to get them into your campaign wherever it is set. We will be visiting new sectors though. You're doing a Dene...

Re: State of the Mongoose 2018

Will the K'kree (and others) be integrated into the character generation software from RPGSuite also? Their licence certainly allows it. Regarding the Vanguard miniatures game, the major issue with the last campaign was that the buy-in was limited to a full set only, which was a high price-mark for...

Re: State of the Mongoose 2018

Are the new alien volumes going to lift heavily from the older (fantastic) Third Imperium hardback alien modules? I realise the races and info about them is the same in any edition, but how much new material will the new volumes contain? The original premise of these books, as discussed with Travel...
