I just bought a copy myself.
Love the art, and love the deck plans.

Re: Sword Worlds - ebook & Pre-Order
What’s up with the HEAP ammo for the Palvelupistooli? I’m sorry but I can’t think of any situation where anytime works ever want to use it, ever? Why trade a respectable amount of damage for a mediocre amount of AP? Both 1st and 2nd edition CSC has HEAP increasing damage as well as adding some AP.....

Re: Higher tech items on a lower tech world
Just finished watching the extended version of Aliens 3 and came away with some ideas about TL and lower tech worlds. More along the lines of why a world may be at such a lower TL than a neighboring system. MegaCorp colonizes a system, later decides it's no longer profitable, those that stay are lef...

Re: Sword Worlds - ebook & Pre-Order
So far my only criticism is that the book lacks a "Creating Sword World Travellers" blurb, such as the Darrian entry in Behind the Claw. What is provided is pretty cool and I will definitely use, I just think a one page summary of Core careers and their Swordie equivalents would have been nice. I'l...

Submissions for future JTAS?
Is Mongoose accepting any submissions for any possible future JTAS Volumes?
I have a ship design I'd like to submit, and I think that it would be fun to try and write up a High Guard entry.

Re: Robots
Central Supply Catalogue would be your best bet.

Re: Referees Only: Where's the cat?!?
Thank you for the compliments /cheers , it could be a passenger's purse pet (cue social with passenger threatening legal action or taking a toolkit and searching for it on their own), it could be an accidental stowaway (animal snuck onboard on the last world). This what I'm talking about! Very nice....

Referees Only: Where's the cat?!?
If you never, ever, ever, plan to be a Referee, GM, DM. If you only ever want to be a player...cool...that's your jam. 8) Please stop reading, because everything presented below, is a scenario outline for referees who might want something different for a change of pace. SPOLIERS BELOW If you are sti...

Re: Another passage type--slow drugs
You might want to re-read the entry about Fast and Slow drugs.
Administering the wrong drug could lead to a VERY interesting predicament the crew may find themselves in.

Need A Ship Name?
I came across this the other day, and thought it would be cool to share.
http://www.trisen.com/sol/default.asp?topic=10&page=15
Not only does it have listed ship names, it also has an option to submit a ship registration.
A bunch of other game aides are also available.

Re: Are Multiple Medic Checks Allowed?
This is a Travellerism Slow is Fast and Fast is Slow When you administer a Fast drug to a character, the "Fast" is how the world is perceived by the character who is under the drug's effects. The opposite would be true with a Slow drug, the world seems to be going slower than it is for the drugged c...
