Re: Lost Tales

So who saw this and what do you think? That whole possession and admoedeus thing, I think, would be a good setting for a campaign, religion and sci-fi. I was slightly disapointed with Lost Tales. After such a long wait felt a bit anti-climatic. Did n't feel quite like old B5. Missed the old sets an...

An Avenger shouldn't be able to carry T-bolts. I believe that they were all destroyed during the EM war, as were Novas and Orestes. Unless the timeline has been altered from what I know. Hardly Because we get to see Novas in the show- no doubt someone will be able to qoaute an exact episode referen...

So long as the DVDs come out in Region 2 quick smart I'll be happy. I do have a multi region player, but I prefer not to rely on it LBH If they only came out on Region 1 then I would have to buy new DVD player. Even though my new (Region 1) DVD player is only 2 weeks old!! Some things are just not ...

Wouldnt that render Armageddon totally obsolete? Everything beforehand will be - Armageddon fulfils our promise to produce just one book for CTA every year, rather than getting you to lay out for multiple smaller publications every few months. It was designed to update the game, introduce the Armag...

Yes, but I wish there were... Better detailed faces. I picked up some of my old Blacktree Harlequin B5 Minatures the other day. And given how figure sculpting has come in in leaps and bounds since then I would have hoped that Mongoose's B5 minatures faces would have improved. I was always planning o...

Re: New B5 project - 'The Lost Tales'

Hi all, Most of you B5'ers will have already heard, but for those that haven't there should be a small run of B5 mini-movies coming, entitled 'The Lost Tales'. The announcement was made at the San Diego Comic Con by JMS. There's some other stuff too, like the potential 'Rising Stars' series, but fo...

I would have liked to see a pointly-collared Vorlon like the nasty-looking Kosh II (I'm never sure of the correct nomenclature of the 'other' Vorlon). A Kosh II would have been nice- I am surprised that with 6 Vorlon models they could n't do a Kosh II. From memory we have only seen 3 Vorlons on scr...

As someone who is starting a B5 novel as we speak, it saddens me that JMS is unwilling to work with Mongoose on this. He's willing to work with them, for the right price, and his time is more expensive than Mongoose can afford for this project, hence the current stance. Basically jms is not a chari...

Awesome. Slightly different head sculpts and different jukeboxes too.

Now you can set up your PC characters up against 6 vorlons.....

Having read Visions of Peace, I have to say, it shows. JMS's history suggests he's generally happy to keep Babylon 5 moving (as for example, the graphic novel he's writing to finally complete the Crusade story), but he doesn't think it's wrong to receive payment for his work. He's defended members ...

JMS finally breaks cover on the canon issue....and gives a big thumbs down :( Just to confirm, however: these books have nothing to do with B5 continuity or history from a canonical point of view.
