Don’t know about the core rulebook ships as much, but the high guard ships are riddled with dozens of errors.
AD’s link in the post above is the best effort I’ve seen at correcting them.

Re: Space Stations
Does anyone know of a space station design spreadsheet similar to the one that’s available for starship design? I used the google sheets spreadsheet that bluekeirnan made several years ago. His last version was 1.9, I think. I’ve updated it to include some of the spacestation options and correct a ...

Just checked on PC. Same files. Pictures appear in Adobe on my PC, but not in Safari or Goodreader on my iPad.

Re: Traveller Companion Chargen Question
While we have Michael/Martin here with us, I’d like to add that I finished his “Shadow of the Storm: A Story of the Solomani Rim” last night. Enjoyable Traveller fiction. Highly recommend. https://www.amazon.com/Shadow-Storm-Story-Solomani-Rim-ebook/dp/B01DCR0NXG/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Shadow+...

Officers in combat units get a rifle too, so that doesn’t make sense.

Re: Prevalence of military vets among PCs
Everyone knows that Gun Combat 4 with a scoped rifle and and hard cover is good times. The first time that the players come up with a Carouse-Persuade-Gamble task chain on their own is rewarding, as they realize how much fun that part of the game can be as well.

Re: Leadership
Our house rule, which works well for our group, is that a leadership check is a significant action, but it can be hasted to a minor action with DM -2. All boons must be distributed immediately, but the actual skill check when the boon is used can be in later combat rounds (i.e. when the order is ex...

Re: Prevalence of military vets among PCs
My campaigns might punish a traveller with no combat ability, although it could certainly be done. Our style tends to lead to a lot of military and agent types. Probably 2/3 are military, scout, or agent, although that includes 5 term characters with only one or two military terms. But even the dipl...

Re: Leadership
George, good questions. I've refereed a lot of Traveller, but I'll admit this doesn't come that often. My players have likely significantly underused this feature of the combat system. First, combat is one of many circumstances that one could use a leadership skill check. That said, your questions p...

Re: Official Traveller Core Rulebook Update
Matthew, I've been critical of errata not being corrected, so it's only fair that I acknowledge the update: Thank you! All the changes look good to me.
(now do the same for Highguard)
cheers!

Re: NASA SpaceX Launch
Thanks. A little bit of a bummer. We scrapped the boat plan, because we would have had to drive the boat through thunderstorms to get to the viewing area. So we watched the launch from the dock about twenty miles away. Close enough to hear it, though. It was already out of sight before the sound rea...

Not to brag, but if Saturday’s launch is a go, I’ll be watching from a boat a few miles from the launch pad. Very excited!

Re: Journal of the Travellers' Aid Society Volume 6 - Now on Sale!
No one is asking you to undercut retailers. We’re asking for a bundled price. That’s not undercutting anyone, as it results in a larger sale. I am very sorry, but that is not the way a retailer might look at it and they might be right to think that way :( Hey man, its your business. No need to apol...

Re: Better Grav Vehicles For Starships
One issue I have with the vehicle rules is that if you look at how large one “space” is, passenger seating takes up Way more space than it should. Unfortunately Mongoose has chosen a vehicle presentation template that doesn’t break down space and cost like the ship template does, but if I design a v...
